G56 is an independent public limited company founded with family capital in 1986 offering Integral Services of Construction. Structurally our organization is composed of three separate business areas (Architecture – Engineering, Project and Construction Management and Construction) with technical means and personnel, with offices in Barcelona and Madrid.
After more than 20 years of experience in projects of Architecture, Project Management and Construction in Spain and Portugal, the company has extended its future activities internationalizing its services and at the same time spreading them out to own Real Estate Promotions. After a study on the different possibilities of incorporating in the emerging countries of Eastern Europe, it was finally decided to start business in Bulgaria. Bulgaria, due to its geographic, climatic and political situation (member of the EU) and also the potential to progress and develop, appears to us a suitable location to export our experience and continue our evolution.
Thus at the end of the financial year of 2006, as a result of a strategic decision to internationalize our services, G56 initiated a professional challenge creating “G56 Group Bulgaria”. The new company is 88% property of Spanish capital of Grupo G56 Holding, and the rest 12% are property of two Bulgarian partners.
Following its strategic plan to let new partners enter in some of its projects, G56 Group Bulgaria creates the subsidiary G56 Developments on 18 May 2007. This new company is in the process of amplification of its capital, include two partners: G56 Group Bulgaria with 58 % of its capital and AMCI Habitat with 42 %.
The strategic bet of G56 Developments consists in developing properties and complexes (from the architectural project and the management of the construction and the promotion) in the following cases:
- Residential developments (first residence) and office buildings in the capital of Sofia
- Tourist complexes (second residence) in locations on the beach and the mountain: The Hill Club
